Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 It'd be a pity if some of the good stuff we've done in this series went unrewarded. Pretty super D, good enough pitching to win most nights.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 McCarver is such a hack, holy hell. Just shut up Timmy.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 Miller will pick Pagan at first.

Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 So Manuel double-switched in Cora, then sent up Matthews for a pathetic AB, and now Jacobs is in. I'd rather have bunted with Cora, even with one out, and given Reyes a shot, then if this goes much further the bench isn't incinerated.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 Calling a pick-off of Pagan is what's known in the trade as "a no-brainer".

Blanco is the only position player left.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 Not only is Reyes not hitting well so far, but the few times he has gotten good wood [insert pun here] he's been hitting at'em balls.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 Castillo still pantomiming that 'go to sleep' routine once he gets on 1st-base and I still don't know what it means.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 I mean, we got the 3 and 4 hitters up with a fast runner on. What more can we do?

Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 Oh, Edgardo Alfonzo, almighty father of clutch hitting and holy high priest of grace under pressure, we pray to you tonight to win in inning 13.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 Ledger_NYMets RT @jessespector: The Mets committed catcher's interference twice last year. Both times, Ryan Ludwick was the batter. #nym

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 In between innings earlier in the game I was watching bits of 'Bang the Drum Slowly' on Turner Classics-- mainly for the views of Shea circa 1973
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 I thought that would fall in from Pagan.
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 My wife left me, thankfully she left me with plenty of beer.
