Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 Matthews, Jr. ends it.I can't expect all the fill-ins to find themselves in the same inning. You can't blame me for hopin' though.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 I'm starting to conclude that Rodriguez is something of a hothead. (As opposed to "intense" or "troubled.")
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 I was taking a pee and missed the fireworks.
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 Ronnie making the case that maybe Rodriguez was pissed because Harris didn't move at all. I still haven't seen it. Want to give a quick recap?
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 Pitch a bit inside nicked Harris on the forearm. As he was heading toward first Rodriguez moved toward him, yelling and gesturing, apparently dissatisfied with something Harris was saying. The rest of it was Bench Clearing 101, no punches thrown, barely any shoving. So now let's see if the Nats try to exact some misplaced vengeance, or if they'll just allow the Mets to load the bases before snuffing out a stillborn rally.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 Boorajas. Not quite sure what hap'd.Harris was hit, said something --- the implication was that he turned to suggest to the bench that he was hit in response to yesterday's catch, and Rodriguez told him to get his ass to first.Barajas pops out. Now Pagan. Should have been Pagan and Tatis.
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 Flat, disappointing effort by the O today.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 Well, see you on the road.I blame "Taking Care of Business."
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 Barajas pops out. Now Pagan. Should have been Pagan and Tatis.[/quote:3m25skri]That was my thought too, which means there was absolutely no chance Jerry would do it.Francoeur's throw did indeed get the fans cheering without scoreboard help. Not a lot of other good things today at Shea.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 Didn't notice if Bruney came after Frankie during the mini-ruckus. Money and mouth and all that.
