I'm going to have to reluctantly discard Ashie62's vote for the 6/24 loss to the Tigers if he doesn't specify which Feliciano he's voting for.

I edited it..Thanks

I'm back from Puerto Rico, and I have some catching up to do.

Voting for all six games played against the Twins and the Tigers at Citi Field last week will close on Friday.

Welcome back. Did you eat Marlin?

Voting for all three games of the 2010 San Juan Series will close on Saturday. If you have any votes to cast, please try to do so today.

La votacin para los tres partidos de la Serie 2010 de San Juan se cerrar el sbado. Si tiene alguna votos a favor emitidos, por favor trate de hacerlo hoy.

This will also close out the month of June, so be sure to look for the Players of the Month announcement. It looks like we'll have at least one first-time winner, and perhaps as many as three all-new retro baseball cards.

What have you got against Venezuelan beer?

Had I not been constrained by the six-point limit, I'd've slammed 8.95 down for Johan tonight. 8.95!

I reassessed. I take it back.

9.12

I gave Ike Davis a sip of Schaefer for his 9th inning diving catch this evening. Without that play, the inning could have gotten very ugly very quickly.

They were serving Solera tonight, before BG changed it

Voting for four games will close tomorrow: the final three games played in Washington, and the Monday night series opener against the Reds at Citi Field. Please get all uncast votes submitted some time today. And remember to specify your Felicianoes!

I need the word "Schaefer" in the thread titles to help me find them.

Besides, we don't want to endanger the sponsorship money we're getting from them.

Seriously, if anyone (with the right skill set) wants to contact the Pabst (current owners of the Schaefer brand) Brewing Company's promotions/publicity/advertising department and negotiate a real sponsorship deal, please go ahead. Just don't sign anything without first running it by myself, KC, and Ben Grimm.

I've sent an inquiry or two, but probably to the wrong office, and I've never heard back.

Seeing some 4+ point scores for Niese makes me think that he's sucking up extra points because so few other players did anything valuable. 3 runs in 7 2/3 isn't bad but it's not world-beating either.

I missed this sucker. Anybody want to tell me about any superlative defensive plays or any other Jeter-class don't-make-it-into-the-boxscore moments?

He also hit a ringing double.

Cora in the first or second. Super diving catch on a sizzling liner.

Thanks, but I got Cora over two points in the hole as it is, so he's not making my ballot unless he pulls an Agee out there.

But then got thrown out on the basepaths like an idiot, negating much of the value of the double.

I forgot that, I will subtract something for it. But I wasn't trying to "use up" points his teammates didn't earn, that's not how I roll.

Not meant as a personal knock, just an observation born out of frustration with the Mets' inability to give Bronson Arroyo the beating he so richly deserves.
