I'm watching this, and this is sad - Soriano gives the Mets a 2-1 lead in the 8th with a couple of poorly played balls in the outfield, and then he taketh away with a 3-run homer in the bottom of the 8th - 5-2 Cubs...

mccarver FINALLY gets corrected by his superiors, who let him know that the Astros record fewest homeruns as a team was for the "expansion era" (post 1962) only. the worst part is it felt like mccarver hadnt just misspoken, he just didnt even know that!

It must be so freaking demoralizing to play for this team. They battle back, only to get kicked in the nads time and time again. Or, on the days a pitcher pitches his ass off, they can't push across more than a run.
