G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 I'm staring at that lineup and attempting to fathom how eight-ninths of it was responsible for generating nine-tenths of the most hits in one Met inning.

bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2009 Author Posted August 19, 2009 Castillo's played about a bazillion baseball games in his life. How did he not automatically, instinctively, move to cover 2d on that play? All I can think of is that he never registered the fact that there was a runner on first.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Don't yank Parnell. Let him work his way out of this. The Braves haven't hit a ball hard all inning.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2009 Author Posted August 19, 2009 4 runs are because of Castillo's screw up.
