I'm staring at that lineup and attempting to fathom how eight-ninths of it was responsible for generating nine-tenths of the most hits in one Met inning.

Ew. Let's turn 3.

Castillo's played about a bazillion baseball games in his life. How did he not automatically, instinctively, move to cover 2d on that play? All I can think of is that he never registered the fact that there was a runner on first.

Oh, fucking, my! Turnabout is fair play I guess.

It's got to be the patches -- stupid hat patch and even more stupid sleeve patch.

I'm calling this kangaroo court to order.
Runner on third with no outs and can't get a run home? Wouldn't change the outcome of the game very much, but somebody has to ante up.

Murphy triples to lead off the bottom of the sixth.

The innings ends with him standing on third.

This feels a bit familiar. Except worse.

This team bears a striking resemblance to the Indians in the motion picture "Major League" but without the talent

Ah, what Willie Mays Hayes and Pedro Cerrano could have done for this team this year.

maybe they're the minor league team in major league 3? where the twin middle infielders run into each other?
