Why does this Wednesday night always feel like some kind of void?

I mean, I'm sure we all have crap to do ... I've barely visited the forum today
I've been so busy ... but it's always felt this way to me since I was a kid I think.

Met outfielder D.J. Wabick went 2-4 with an RBI double and a single. Pitcher Roy Merritt pulled a Heath Bell, coming into a tied game and becoming the pitcher of record on the losing side. Josh Thole was electe to the team but didn't attend the game (is he injured?).

Might have been MLB Network. It started at 11:00 EDT or so, I think, as it was held in Portland, OR.
