Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 Redding survives a leadoff dubble.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 Keith keeps begging viewers not to change the channel. My guess is that he's bored and distracted and is assuming that his audience is too.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 Redding can bite my ass.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 Maybe he can fall back on that skill once he gives up pitching.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 Bases loaded HBP. 2-0 Pirates.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 I'm not sure he's worthy even to bite my ass.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 Well what do you know? More shitty execution by the Mets.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 Aw, all our shitty pitchers are shitty! The beer goggles have worn off.

Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 I think you can find a guy on 11th Avenue who can give you a quote.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 Redding is a bum. And the notion that Ollie will replace him on the roster soon is really not all that comforting.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 What about the thought that Redding and Perez will share their starts, with Redding pitching the first five innings and Perez the final four?
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 If you keep them both, who gets banished to the herd?I'd be willing to try that just for the heck of it. But the question is whether Jerry will stick to his famed slots, and start playing lefty-righty, eighth-inning guy and closer.Ideally, you'd get Ollie and Redding and everyone else gets a day off. But I can picture Jerry getting five out of one, two out of the other and then rolling into his slots.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 Will Redding blame this one on the rain delays?
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 The cable guy / fios guy thing is getting old real quick. They should just shack up and be done with it.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 The Pirates are trying to hit for the cycle in this inning.

Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 Muffie!I think it must've given Jerry palpitations just to send a lefty up to pinch hit against a lefty pitcher. It's against his programming.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 And Luis kills the momentum with the GIDP. At least it came after the RBIs.
