Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 Gary and Keith were ready to kill Davey for not running it out, but the evidence clears him.

How do you suppose the talk went?It looked to me like Wright was talking in jive to Pelf with the way he had all the movement going on.

Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 Sean Green has now officially removed the cringe. Things change fast in the pen, but he's earned my confidence until further notice.

Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 I am drunk 2000 miles from home in beautiful Shreveport, Louisiana on a work trip. No Mets games but lots of casinos and open bars.I see the score is 6-2 and I am confident that the Mets will be victorious. Since there is no Mets TV coverage in the Bayou, I will go back to the casinos and Hustler clubs while the rest of you retire to your tents and to your dreams.Adios my Mets brothers and sisters. And Let's Go Mets!(PS Wayne Hagin is still a ****.)
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 Geez, the Jays load the bases w/one out in the 8th vs the Phils down by a run ... then get a long line-drive to the warning track but Alex Rios doesn't tag from 3rd!!!!Next guy up grounds out to end the inning and the Phils still lead.I read about something else Rios did stupid just recently (forget the details). Talented guy but only occasionally matches up to what he seems like he could be.
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 I'm almost afraid to ask, but who's the sword swallower?

Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 Two hits with a four run lead, and he gets the hook? What, is Bobby Parnell save chum?
Piggiestomatoes Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 Young Bobby, recognizing that the Mets surely can't stand prosperity, places a couple of ducks on the pond for Frankie. Why does nothing come easy for this team???

Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 Frankie abuses Wieters, and TWiggy's upcoming 6-4-3 will settle this nicely.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 NEWSBREAK: PHILADELPHIA, PA3-2, Phils, but Madson lets up back-to-back singles, and an errant throw from Ibanez lets the runners advance. Intentional walk to Lind, and the bases are loaded with none out...
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 There's a distinct "Let's Go Mets" chant from this crowd.

Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 In an eerie parallel, Ryan Madson also walked in a run. Blue Jays tied 3-3 with Philadelphia.
