Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 Let's work on the game instead of wild-assed trade proposals.

Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 Prime UniWatching time with Kevin Burkhart.
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 Ramon Martinez with a luvly pick on a tricky hop to turn two on Nick Johnson.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 Ramon picking 'em and Livan's dealin'
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 Hey, Howie, don't announce that Livan's going into the seventh like it's such a crazy thought. He's had only 71 pitches. And now Dunn pisses on my dream of a complete game.(And some Cub-wannabe fan throws the ball back.)
Valadius Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 Okay, I HAD to drop by when I saw that Fernando Martinez is in the lineup. Been way too busy focusing on college stuff the last few months.
Piggiestomatoes Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 Listening to Omar with Gary and Ron earlier I was wondering if he was a used car salesman before manning the good ship Wilpon. Just sounds like he can't/shouldn't be trusted.
Theoldmole Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 Is "in Citifield history" really a phrase that should be used just yet?
Theoldmole Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 Vlad -- isn't your semester over?
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 Kaboom me, Sheff, you professional hitter you.
Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 Golf clubbed out by Sheffield. Holy crap.Benches warned after Bergmann drops a curveball over Tatis's head. Seriously?
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 And Kaboomskavitz while my radio connection fails.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 maybe the Mets knew what they were doing when they signed Sheff.
Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 Hahaha, and now Tatis gets hit with a fastball but Bergman gets to stay in the game. But he's on double-secret probation, trust me.
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 Dan Iassogna looks like the guy who mows his lawn at 7 AM on a Sunday.
Piggiestomatoes Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 No common sense at all. 76 MPH curve slips out of his hand, flys over Tatis's head and everyone gets warned. Dopey.

nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 no way was the second baseman still on the bag when he caught the throw from 3B. They built $50,000 questec machines to tighten the strike zone and screw the pitchers, couldn't they have accomplished the same for free by not calling the "area out"?
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 I just freeze-framed it to be sure, but Andy Handy was standing flat-footed a good foot from the base when he caught Zimmerman's throw. Awfully big neighborhood.
Piggiestomatoes Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 Forget not being in the neighborhood, Ron said he wasn't even in Flushing, he was in Astoria.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 Jerry even went out to argue between innings, not something you usually see on area-out calls.Livan in trouble...
