Guest GYC Guests Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Murphy fails to give us the lead. Damn. On top of wanting the lead, I want tosee Murphy succeed for his own sake.Church being PH for with Tatis and ex-Met Mota coming in to pitch againsthim?
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Tough day for Murphy w/the bat.Maybe he can't hit as a first-baseman.
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 I like this matchup. Freddy Teats hits the curve.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 ]I like this matchup. Freddy Teats hits the curve. It's the front-of-the-batter's-box thing.
Guest GYC Guests Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Aaaaaand Tatis grounds out, inning over. FUCK.
Guest GYC Guests Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 This is a lost lineup with really, really shitty depth. We need to trade for aDelgado stopgap replacement, a la Nick Johnson or something.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 DAMMIT. They keep pissing away chances. Every game, they've pissed away the chances.
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 I don't get this double switch. Putz is only going to pitch one inning no matter what. Now Reed is locked in as the leadoff hitter in the ninth. If you leave Putz in the 9 hole you can choose who starts off the inning, Reed or Sheffield., depending on who is on the mound.

Cora and Reyes at the same time is a killer.

Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Just to get on board. I don' t support lifting Hernandez here.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 I don't support JJ Putz and his 20-minute innings.
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Let's keep tempting fate with Martin, shall we?
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 (edited) A hit with men in scoring position? Well, that's just plain unsporting. We wouldn't stoop to that sort of vulgar maneuver. Edited May 20, 2009 by Guest

Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Lifting a cruising starter whose know for his durability after 93 pitches. That sucks also.

Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 My mistake, Reed is up third in the ninth. My point still stands.

If only Jerry let him walk two men in the ninth inning and throw some hittable stuff up there... THEN you'd be thunderstruck, you whinging bitches. Edited May 20, 2009 by Guest
