As the child of an alcoholic, I don't drink -- my wife usually runs in and selects the wine when we're bringing a bottle to someone's house for dinner -- but she's awfully tired, being six months pregnant and all, so I ran into the liquor store last night instead, and came out with this...



I had a sip -- like I said, I'm not a drinker -- but word from the table was that it wasn't too bad, actually.

(Didn't see the Santana or Schneider versions, or I probably would have bought all three.)

There's a Stew Leonard's liquor shop in Danbury. A few months ago I was in there and noticed not only Mets-named wines, but also wines named after Yankee and Red Sox players. Yank and Sox wines were sold out more, althought you'd want to think Mets fans had more reason to drink. Later
