For weeks I have meant to ask who is the guy that looks vaguely like Randolph in the dugout....I assumed it was Juan Lopez....it's not him?

His company and his stockiness suggest he's in the catching trade, but he doesn't really look like Sandy Jr.

Juan Lopez is my suspicion too. He gets listed as an offic ial coach on the roster but "batting practice pitcher" is as far as I'd like to consider noteworthy. He was in 56 before Ayala came along and was apparently moved to 62, but maybe it was 64.

He's a match for the photo of Juan Lopez in the media guide. But with the Mets, that could mean he's Rick Waits.
