Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 I'd settle for a single at this point.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 And that is probably all she wrote.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 Awwww.I thought he had that one.
Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 Did everything right except get enough of it.Back to the bullpen. At least give out offense a fighting chance to lose it.

Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 What are the odds that Wright can hit a 2 run homer to lead off the ninth?Yeah, that's what I was afraid of.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 that was weird infield shift against Delgado, they couldn't put the regular overshift on because Jose would have promptly taken third and then home with the 3rd baseman in the SS position, so they put the SS behind the 2nd base bag and the 2nd baseman in short rightfield with the 3rdbaseman at his normal position.Delgado lined it hard to left but Willingham was there :/

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 Biggest problem now (aside from the pen of course) is that the batters next inning consists of Wright and a bunch of scrubeenies.
