Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Anderson Hernandez-esque catch by Escobar.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 WOW!!!!! Just getting here. Actually, I peeked in when they were down one, then saw the bases were loaded for Delgado and didn't want to jinx.Awesome!
Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Chip Caray, immediately after the inning ended:"Well that was awful folks, no way to sugarcoat that."I really enjoy Atlanta's broadcasters when the Braves are losing.

Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 I was com-pletely shocked and delighted to see that 8th inning happen. That ballsy walk by Nick The Stick was the key.

bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Excellent job by the Forum regrouping in the 8th. This was clearly the key to the Mets rally.
stevejrogers Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Take out the books, and put this one in them!
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Nice come-from-behind win!

He & Ayala are getting some suds tonight.
batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Good thing they blew it open in the 8th, what with their CLOSER on the DL.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Glad to see them finally get some runs in the 8th.Strange that it was the Braves in town in late August but that the game was totally lacking the juice the Braves matchups used to have. Everybody's gone, or hurt -- except Larry, who got his traditional booage, of course. Three years removed since their last division title and a game against them is like playing the Padres. Several Braves fans in our section and they were like any other visiting team's fans. His RBI single notwithstanding, I think I'm ready for Castillo to come back and replace Easley.Ayala wearing #56. Did he displace a coach (Guy Conti?) to get that number?
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 Juan Lopez, bullpen pitcher, still listed as 56. Anyone come across his new uni number lmk
Guest AG/DC Guests Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 I had a Braves fan behind me at the Mets/Nats game last week that was as awful as any opposition fan I'd ever Met at a game where his team was playing.* I still want to punch him.*Not counting Yankee fans, of course.
Guest holychicken Guests Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 Nice to finally watch a BP other than our own cough up a game so royally.
