Well for starters, Schneider sucks. So there's that.

Don't underestimate the value of a well rested catcher ;)

Oh if it was up to me, The Schneid would be the most well rested catcher in the history of the world.

Brandon Moss hurts himself spinning out of the box, saves the Mets from clumsy fielding.

That ankle bent hard, here's hoping it's nothing serious.

Thnx Elster.

Thats kinda new. Needed another generic one.
I still have a Endy one up my sleeve I think I made 2 years ago.
Thats the problem with making player specific ones.
Ahhhh, someday...

Actually not really. Delgado fielded it and was going to go to Santana covering first. When he saw Moss on his knees in the batter's box, he tried to go to second cuz he knew that he could take a shot and still get Moss at first.

Gary Cohen's going on and on about how Argenis is in the middle of everything. Not sure what Gary could mean what with Arsenio on-basing not even .300. Maybe Arugula's in the middle of killing every rally by making outs all the time. Arsenic's pretty damn good at making outs. Maybe that's what Gary meant. What the hell do you all think Gary was talking about?

It's funny. When J.Reyes, Wright, Beltran, and Delgado all hit well, of course whoever is hitting second is going to get taken along for the ride. So whenever Heinous gets those relatively rare hits he scores or knocks someone in and peeps think it's him.

Edit: Specifying which Reyes.

And after that, there's that The Schneid's not even good enough to carry Ron Hodges' bat. But he gets to play more often than ol' #42. So there's that, too.

Looks to me like more Willlie-ball with the practically worst hitter on the team having to bat second. I guess that Wright's gotta come up in the first inning with a better chance than there should be that there's gonna be at least one out already made. Plus Arbuckle's gotta get 40 or 50 more at bats then he ordinarily would by batting 7th or 8th, where he belongs. Is this Omar's idea?

I can almost see putting him there today, with Wright out of the lineup, but there is no excuse to be batting Arrreyes in the two hole and while Murphy hits in the bottom part of the order. Murphy's plate approach (not to mention ability) just fits so much better.

Of course maybe we're relatively fortunate that Murphy isn't batting 2nd and having a big chunk of his PAs wasted on bunts. Sigh. I'm going to go back to enjoying the winning now.

You mean J. Reyes? Or Argyle Reyes?

I'll take that to mean that he can carry his jock.

I know. Imagine the Mets putting an effective hitter in the #2 hole and letting him put his effectiveness to effect without the fu**in first inning sac bunts getting in the way? This has been mostly a foreign concept here since Valentine was fired.

(Manuel's not much of a first inning sac bunter (thank god) but his choice of #2 hitters is another story).

Sean Burnett has no control right now, and the Pirates booth is analyzing his odd delivery. Lefty who plants hisleft foot on the 1st base side of the rubber.

Gets it back to 3-2 on Johan.

Santana could strike out the side in the 8th.
Everybody on your feet and start clappin.
K!K!K!

Took my baby away.

There's something comforting about sending out the ace against a bad team and watching him dominate like an ace should. Like a warm blanket.

Quick, during the commercial post who is going to pitch the bottom of the 9th.

awwww. No K.
But yay! Ground out!

I know I'm the only one in the world thinking this but I say let Santana start the 9th.

OE:^ guess I'm not,lol.

If his arm's feeling alright, let him go back out there. Against this lineup, he probably won't even have to throw a breaking ball. Fastballs, changeups, and let's wrap this up.

Adding the middle name was a nice touch on the Rich Becker designation.

Taking a break from wrestling with the underground sprinklers. Looks like Johan kicked butt. Or kicked Buc, as the case may be.

Wow, Schneider's got a little power surge going.

Of course, the Pirates and Nats pitching might have something to do with that.
