Guest AG/DC Guests Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 No way is that hit going to be the difference tonight.

Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 Well, now it's the 8th.I secretly hate it when the No. 9 guy reaches with 2 out and nobody on and the Mets in need of a run. I feel like Reyes has more juice when he leads off a frame. Plus it keeps our No. 2 hitter from leading off.

Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 AG/Dc - "Duaner gets an out!"I wish he would get two more.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 How about LaRussa letting Izzy hit for himself with 2nd & 3rd, only to take him out the following inning anyway?Key baffling decision could loom xtra large.Let's rock and roll:
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 Single and a wild pitch gets Endy in scoring position with no outs.. The big sticks need to come through and get him home.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 Wright strikes out. I have faith that one of the two Carloses will come through.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 McClellan brings the funke.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 Ugh! Wright - Delgado - Beltran all go down swinging to end the threat and strand Chavez at second.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 That's brutal. Runner on second, no one out and our 3-4-5 hitters all fan. That was probably the chance in this game.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 Yeah, Pujols didn't stand a chance.**That entire at bat, I kept thinking that this isn't likely to end well for the Mets, Schoeneweis did a good job with tough match up.
Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 Bwaaahh! Does gamecast lie or has Fernando just tied this sucker up?!
Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 Hey, like the KTE said, Franklin's been getting bombed left and right.
Guest AG/DC Guests Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 Free baseball.OK, put runners on first and second.
