G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 I do believe this is Molina's first appearance at Shea since he had his last name surgically enhanced. He was hurt during the June series and the September makeup last year.
batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 Under Randolph, we'd get the same crappy fixture of a player institutionalized in the #2 hole. Manuel likes for his entire stable of crappy hitters to share the #2 hole. I'm still tolerating this tactic of Manuel's, (especially with today's collection of starters) because of the Mets injury situation, but in general, it's starting to annoy me.
Guest KC Guests Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 Today is today and I like Chavez in the two slot if he's playing today.Randolph ... get over it hidey pants.

Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 If you told me a month ago that Beltran and Delgado would have nearly identical offensive stats, I would not have believed you.

Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 Decent at-bay by Pelfrey. Sets up Jose to lead off the next inning. Kudos to the other Reyes for getting on.

Guest holychicken Guests Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 Of course they talk about Castillo coming back RIGHT before that. I almost forgot that he was a Met. . . wishful non-thinking. .
