And then it really was just an exhibition game. No World Series home field carp involved.

Maybe they should have expanded rosters for a contest like this, but thats the only answer I'd ever entertain.

if they expanded the rosters you'd just have guys going 1/3 of an inning so more people could play. these staffs have more starters on themt han normal staffs, they should be able to go 40 innings without a problem if they didnt have this "get everyone in and hten be suprised when nobody is left" philosophy.
