Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 They're gonna let Wright steal his way around the bases....
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 FOX guys talking about "solutions" to the tie problem, and ignoring the obvious one: don't bring pitchers in for 1 inning each, if this game is going to count for something then the starter needs to go five, each closer needs to go a full inning, and any other starter that pitches needs to go 3. you wont run out of pitchers that way and i dont care who doesnt get to pitch.if you want everyone to play then the game shouldnt count for anything, then it can be managed like an exhibition game as it currently is
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 Joe Buck still talking about how Francona is "not" going to put Kazmir out there after a certain point. Maybe they forfeit?
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 We all know this is Wagner's fault. Came in bases empty, 2 out, and Lidge poised for the 9th.

Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 I think they stop the game between the 15th and 16th innings so Bud can give the Commissioner's Award to someone. Should only take 20 minutes before they start the game again.
Guest attgig Guests Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 at least francona isn't bunting. someone knows how to manage.
Guest attgig Guests Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 how many innings can lidge go?maybe they tire him out, and phils start dying because he can't pitch anymore.and morneau respecting McClouth's arm. nice.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 Can't see how Lidge isn't good for at least 2. 3 might be pushing it.
