I love the All-Star game but the combination of a) no Mets starters and hours of fawning over YS, will make it a tough watch. Also, MFY fans have no class and will boo Wagner and Wright. Still, we need the NL to win so the Mets will have home-field advantage in the WS.

We did a lot of scouting at that game. Future Mets on that squad are: Foster, Candelaria, Seaver, Monta�ez, Templeton, Morales, and Valentine.

Pullovers aside, I have to give props to the Mets, Reds, Dodgers, and Braves for wearing grey road uniforms. The blue that the Cardinals, Phillies, and Expos are wearing look worse than I had remembered.
