nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 pretty meaningless numbers imo.every team came with wildly different expectations, and even with different reasonable expectations.
Guest AG/DC Guests Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 Wow, I'm poinding out meaningless posts.Feel free to add meaning.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 It's a little surprising that Willie ended up with a higher winning percentage than Bobby Valentine. That's because it's easy to forget 2002, when Bobby went 75-86 (.466)If Bobby had left the Mets after 2001, he would have been at .547.
Guest AG/DC Guests Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 Making that defecit up would be a great reason for Valentine to return.

Guest AG/DC Guests Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 Mike Cubbage could move up five places with one win.
