I am guessing that that is the total.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2008 Author Posted April 4, 2008 Yeah a total of $45 for the four.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 Hmmm.I was just combing the rosters of the '86, '99 and '00 Mets teams for pages that are available for sponsorship. I noticed a couple of Willets Point's pages that also point back to the CPF.I have long considered sponsoring a page but didn't know what to put. Maybe I'll get me one of these Mets and point it back here.
Valadius Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 I just bought:The other Pedro Martinez ($10) - http://www.baseball-reference.com/m/martipe03.shtmlThe 1987 New York Mets ($15) - http://www.baseball-reference.com/teams/NYM/1987.shtmlI'm particularly proud to sponsor the 1987 Mets because that's the year I was born.

metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2008 Author Posted April 4, 2008 Nice one Val , Fman99 that would be super cool of you to sponsor and point here.Apart from MetFairy and Joe Hietpas I doubt anyone else views his page but I am expecting that to change as Joe makes his way up the system as a pitcher....MetFairy's original post regarding her new adoptee from 2005.]I adopted Joe last year after watching him play for the B-Mets. He's an excellent defensive catcher, although the knock against him is that his hitting has been poor in the past. However, he has improved tremendously this year, and I will post articles about his progress in this thread.
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2008 Posted April 7, 2008 This thread reminded me to renew my sponsorship.

Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 I will be posting a link to the page I sponsored once it is approved by the Baseball Reference folks. My message was this:Visit www.cranepoolforum.net for intelligent, lively, and provocative discussion on the Mets, Ed Kranepool, and, on a good day, the Ramones. I want to give back after getting so much enjoyment from this extended family of Mets fans here at CPF.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted May 19, 2008 Author Posted May 19, 2008 Nice one Fman99 , in anticipation of bad things I picked up ,http://www.baseball-reference.com/o/oberkke01.shtml

For $20 it seemed like a good deal and a chance to get some well deserved press for the forum.
Valadius Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 Hey, somebody should grab Donn Clendenon. It's available for $10 a year.
