Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 Hey this should prolly be in the promotion forum, and feel free to move it there, but being that its baseball related wanted to remind everyone that they are invited to watch the Mets and drink beer or other stuff with me, Matthew Silverman and other Mets fans this Sunday at Stout NYC, 33rd street btw. 6 & 7, just down the block from MSG. This is a totally informal thing -- just look for the TV with the Mets game on and we'll be there. We will have books there if you want one but no need to buy, and our editor too, in the event you want to impress him with your pitches.Game starts at 1:30...
stevejrogers Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 I'm there. Though I may need to talk to both you and Matthew in official puesdo journalism fashion if there is time.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 Plus, Steve J. Rogers will be there!
Guest sharpie Guests Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 Sounds like fun but I think that's the day I'm s'posed to paint the kitchen ceiling.

Guest sharpie Guests Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 Sure, we can drink beer and watch the Mets while painting. Maybe Steve J. Rogers will stop by my place too.
Farmer Ted Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 I may only be there in spirit. Finished the book. Loved the 00 section at the end. What was Tony Clark thinking, taking an already-issued number?Sent a copy of the book to a friend and will tell him to go. And he'll tell two friends, and they'll tell two friends, and so on and so on and so on....
Guest holychicken Guests Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 I would come,. but I am playing golf. Probably be drinking beer too, so I will be there with you in spirit .
Guest KC Guests Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 I'm probably coming. What better way to spend a Sunday spring afternoon than in a dark woody Irish bar drinking Guinness and watching Mets? UV kills, man.(or I'm helping paint Sharpie's kitchen ceiling)

Have a drink for me (and it doesn't have to be a Coor's Light).
