nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 Castillo beats out an infield hit.Castillo to 2nd on a bad pickoff throw by Vandenhurk
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 It takes Vandenhurk TWELVE pitches to get out Pedro!don't worry boys, at this rate we'll be into the bullpen by the 5th
Valadius Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 Way to go Pedro! Tire the other dude out!
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 We had problems with VandenHurk early on when we first saw him last year. But the same pattern is already starting to emerge; he's throwing a ton of pitches and he can't get the curveball over so the bats are going to start timing the fastball and he's gonna be outta there by the 5th inning. Now we just gotta hope that Pedro didn't tire hisself out with that AB
Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 Wasn't aware LuGo could still do that. Eek.
Valadius Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 VandenHurk is the one player in the majors from the Netherlands.
Guest KC Guests Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 Whoa, Keef just properly used well in a sentence instead of good.Guess those four dozen emails finally pay off :-)Pedro looking mighty human on the mound. Hope he gets another AB.

nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 Castillo bunting down 4-0?yeah it took a barehanded pickup to get him but its still stupid

Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 Pagan still switched onto "Shit Hot" mode apparently.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 Delgado singles, Church singles, Pagan singles home Delgado, lets keep the merry-go-round moving.its 4-1 and Gonzalez is yanking Vandenhurk already!

Guest Triple Dee Guests Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 I'm watching through Sun Sports Miami. They just interviewed Rick VandenHurk's father who sounds a lot like Goldmember.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 Pedro grabbing the back of his leg, injured?Wright doing his best to injure Delgado.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 What was I saying... unreliable.
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 Well we got 3 innings out of him.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 That may have been a really short comeback. Any word on Pedro's condition?
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 No word - just speculation that it's a groin or a hamstring.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 Well, el duque should be back soon, and then he should be hurt within a week, so it might be time to go starter-shopping.
