Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 It just wouldn't be a Nationals game without double-digit runs.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 Here we go!And remember. We are the Mets. We do NOTHING easily.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 An Atlanta hot streak seems to be the Mets best hope for fending off the Phillies. The Braves have Hudson and Smoltz going in the next two games in Philadelphia. Unfortunately, the Mets sure aren't doing anything to earn a playoff spot right now. Sooner or later, the Mets have to win a few games if they really wish to be in the postseason. I'm really starting to wonder if they are up to the task.

Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 I think a lot of the CPF is going to be angry. Maybe disgusted is a more fitting word.

Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 Getting deeper into the pen in game one is a small victory in itself.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 Maybe our boys were inspired to see the Braves-Phillies final.
