Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 what the hell set him off?Last thing I saw was an ordinary flyout to end the inning at which point I headed for the kitchen.Bottom line is that we're going to be without both him an Marlon for a game or two each at some point over the next 10 games.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Lastings had jawed to the ump about a called strike in that AB ,he makes an out and SNY went to break and when they came back Gary tells us that LM flipped and had to be restrained and after going back to the dugout ran onto the field again screaming....foolish stuff by him,so he was pissed over balls and strikes.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Deja vu? Nah, but I had to do it up.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 You can't talk that way to Ned Beatty.
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 I had the FSN Florida feed and they showed Lastings blow back out of the dugout after everything had settled. Lo Duca and Willie were talking to the ump (I thought about the lineup change) and here comes the kid like a maniac out of nowhere. Rickey really put his work in keeping Lastings from getting at Joyce.
HahnSolo Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 Francesa and Russo just announced that Lastings got 3 games for this. He will appeal, I assume.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 Hopefully he can delay it until April.(Or during the post-clinching period, should such a period come to exist.)
