Guest old original jb Guests Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 I think you all know to what I am referring.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 Nice of you to stop by jb. Sorry your feeling under the weather. There seems to be a lot of that going around right now.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 The Phillies fans I work with have been remarkably sympathetic. They also seem to think that the Phillies will still find a way to blow this thing.
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 The Phillies won't blow anything. The Mets are in control. All they need to do is win. Starting now. Please?
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 I know what you mean. I've had that "today's the day" feeling for four days now.
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 "Remain calm! All is well!"
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 Bright side?:If the Mets clinch, they are guaranteed to do it at home. A division title celebration at Dolphin's Stadium wouldn't have been as cool anyways.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 I'm beyond caring how cool their clincher is. If they want to do it at 3 a.m. in Baghdad, that's fine with me.
