Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 It would be really cool if that last Pelfrey start wasn't a fluke.Right Mike?Just saying is all.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 We're in heavy Johnny-on-the-Pony area here with Krazy Keith.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 Wow. How 'bout that?!Reyes is touched by the gods.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 Holy shit. Tom Seaver in the booth. I didn't even comb my hair.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 How many crazy throws has Beltran made recently?
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2007 Author Posted September 7, 2007 Conine now 3 for 18 as a Met.Rally Killer.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 How about that big inning, though?
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2007 Author Posted September 7, 2007 Gary and Keith are going back and forth with names of beers and where they're from.Classic.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2007 Author Posted September 7, 2007 Nice catch, Pence...robs David of a double.Beltran goes deep...4-2 good guys.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 Really wailing on Wandy here. If Reyes doesn't jam up last inning, we'd have 8 or 9 by now.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2007 Author Posted September 7, 2007 Conine RBI basehit. Good job, new guy...even after I dissed you.

Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 Omar invokes the name of Ben Baumer!
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 ]What good is an IGT if these things are not explained? Reyes just looks awful tonight.Outstanding catch.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2007 Author Posted September 7, 2007 Good catch by Milledge. When did Gomez get back to the big team? Is he active? Just saw him sitting on the bench next to Perez.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 Gotta like that job by Sosa.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 Fucking Omar half screaming in the booth when Sosa got the out.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 Reyes says, "How awful did I look on that triple?"Castillo brings him home with a single.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 Omar's a rotten speaker but I was standing and cheering hearing him talk about how the Mets have managed to make better decisions than the other guys when it comes to player evaluations. I mean, it sounds obvious -- good scouting combined with statistical analysis -- but it's something I think the org tried doing without for many years.I mean, Phillips/Duke also reached for marginal guys and bouncebackers and bargains but they weren't successful.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 Mets on the verge of really busting this game open right here.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 And WHAM they do just that.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 A hit would have been nice, but I'll take the sac fly from LoDuca for another run.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 Milledge with the big hit!!
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2007 Author Posted September 7, 2007 Sacfly Duca, 3 run homer for Lastings. This game went from bad to worse to impossible for Houston pretty quickly.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2007 Author Posted September 7, 2007 Sosa batting himself...I love it.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 Only the second Mets RP to pick up a plate appearance this year, IIRC from the other night's broadcast.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 Poor Cecil Cooper. This is the kinda game that can ruin an audition.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2007 Author Posted September 7, 2007 According to baseball-reference, Aaron Sele has had 4 at bats this year...Joe Smith has had 1.
