Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 Aaron Harang is a surprising 14-3, 3.51 ERA, 1.23 WHiPPedro's very first Met game also came in Cincinnati. And, although he struck out 12 in 6 innings, that one didn't start particularly well (Adam Dunn 3R HR in the 1st) and didn't end particularly well either (Dunn & Randa HRs). Or, as origninaljb would say ... Looper!* It's 'Hammer' Time !!
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 Keith - " the sweep in Atlanta is not possible without Pedro being in the clubhouse"...that's a lot of pressure.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 When it comes to Mike Wallace, the story ends with me puttin him in the wall.

Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 Nice bunt Castillo but do you have to turn your head over your shoulder to watch it for half the trip down the line?
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 Jeff Keppinger with the highest BA sincd the ASB at .367. Wright at .366.
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 Wright looks sexy with eye black.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 I'd prefer to see Pedro bat before he pitches.
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 SNY not going to commercial after the first half. Well done.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 Gary's pun? Boooooo. For those without SNY, he said "it's the third of September, a day that Pedro will always remember."
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 Swinging bunt for Hamilton. Pedro looked annoyed.
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 Alou shoulda caught that ball. Admittedly a screamer.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 Pedro getting hit hard,2 zip Reds...Phillips steals second....
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 All things considered two runs is not bad, could have been worse and really could have been one run.
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 Harang's a big sunoffagun huh.
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 metirish wrote:All things considered two runs is not bad, could have been worse and really could have been one run.Seriously maybe none. The swinging bunt was a swinging bunt and the second ball shoulda been caught. But it was stung.
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 Radio dudes said that was a mammoth home run by Pee-Hands.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 10 rows deep into the second deck.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 Pedro gets 3000 Ks. Wave to the crowd (guess they put it on the scoreboard).29 pitches through 2 innings.
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 When did Reyes turn into Willie Mays Hayes?

nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 3-2 Mets on the Wright-bomb to the opposite field!
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 I love D Wright...I'm not afraid to say it.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 oh and umm... M-V-P? i was discussing it last night with a friend... he's 10th in the league or so in OPS, 6th in OBP... nobody higher than him will currently make the playoffs (and we know that matters to the voters, even if it shouldn't)
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 He's in a good position. Little feels better than when Wright is going the other way.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 Good job busting it down the line by Green.A runner on second with Green and LoDuca coming up, say the announcers, is a pretty good promise of a run.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 Aaron Harang-a-tang looks very hittable. He's had a good season and I was expecting more from him.
