Post-Season Sked

MLB released the post-season schedule last week with substantial changes compared to how they've done it over the last number of years.
Their aim was to get the "Big" LCS & WS games (1 & 2 plus 6 & 7) off of the weekends when television viewership is down. The problem is that the season is still ending on the same day so in order to stagger the beginnings of each round they simply built in more off days both within the series themselves (even when there's no travel involved) as well as between each round.

So say hello to LDS & LCS series which are more broken up than in past years and to a later finish with quite possibly worse weather.
A big boon, in some cases, to teams with 'Ace' pitchers who can now pitch an extra game or two.

the game 1 starter coming back on full rest to pitch game 4 in the ALDS "B" is bullshit, ALDS "A" starting on the 4th day after the season ends is crap too, what happened to the advantage of wrapping up your playoff spot before the last day or two? all series should start tuesday or wednesday and have 5 games in 7 days...days off should only be for the travel between cities.
