That slow-motion replay of Delgado being thrown out at home doesn't really indicate how slow Delgado is.

Oh wait...that wasn't in slow motion.

Yikes. The last thing we need is our outfielders to go all Don Hahn-George Theodore.

You mean a potential collision or Green's and Alou's combined RBI total?

Not to dwell on it, but Delgado scoring on that is probably never a good bet.
Nice getting the hoof in the way of the slide by catch or he might have even
snuck in if you watch the replay.

Sounds like what Moises will go on the DL with next.

Shawn Green. The man's got Shea inside of him.

Or something.

In which case, he's due for a parking-lotectomy in about 15 months.

Interesting how Gary went on about how the Brewers would've been out of the inning had they played the infield in on that single that Wright got.

Had the Mets played the IF in when Fielder was up, they would've gotten out of that inning (bottom 4th) without the Brew Crew scoring.

Mets not getting any breaks from the boys in blue tonight.

Glavine just ran to first like a pitcher who doesn't trust his teammates to do the same.

Five walks... Runnin' the bases... The dream of a complete game is fading.

Glavine was grumbing about getting squeezed, the radio people thought Milledge was safe.

Chin up boy, it could happen.

That's what all the running in PSL is for.

Glavine's the the last person who should grumble about the strike zone while
going for his 300th (some percentage of them wins of those being due to his
wide strike zone for so many years.)

Radio guys were wrong by my eye.

I hate Castillo already. Hate him.

Wright entered the night with a lifetime OPS of 1.062 at Miller Park, highlighted by the six RBIs he collected in his third game there as a rookie.

But not that time.

Nice move by Miller Park crowd saluting Glavine. If it were Jeff Suppan at Shea/Citi, I wouldn't do it.

Glavine gave the Mets a solid outing, now it's up to the team to kick some ass and get this victory.

Is there any reason for Milwaukeeans to hate Glavine the way we hate Suppan? Probably the only enemy pitcher I wouldn't salute in this situation is Clemens.

And Milwaukeeans are much nicer than me. Folks were just damn friendly when I visited last year.
