G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 That slow-motion replay of Delgado being thrown out at home doesn't really indicate how slow Delgado is.Oh wait...that wasn't in slow motion.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Yikes. The last thing we need is our outfielders to go all Don Hahn-George Theodore.

G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Shawn Green: In there for his defense.

Guest Kid Carsey Guests Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Not to dwell on it, but Delgado scoring on that is probably never a good bet.Nice getting the hoof in the way of the slide by catch or he might have evensnuck in if you watch the replay.

Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Interesting how Gary went on about how the Brewers would've been out of the inning had they played the infield in on that single that Wright got.Had the Mets played the IF in when Fielder was up, they would've gotten out of that inning (bottom 4th) without the Brew Crew scoring.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Mets not getting any breaks from the boys in blue tonight.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Glavine just ran to first like a pitcher who doesn't trust his teammates to do the same.

Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Castillo will fit right in here.
Guest Kid Carsey Guests Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 mgm: >>Glavine was grumbing about getting squeezed, the radio people thought Milledge was safe.<<<Glavine's the the last person who should grumble about the strike zone whilegoing for his 300th (some percentage of them wins of those being due to hiswide strike zone for so many years.) Radio guys were wrong by my eye.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 I hate Castillo already. Hate him.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Wright entered the night with a lifetime OPS of 1.062 at Miller Park, highlighted by the six RBIs he collected in his third game there as a rookie. But not that time.
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Dickshot, tell us how you really feel about Castillo.

G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Nice move by Miller Park crowd saluting Glavine. If it were Jeff Suppan at Shea/Citi, I wouldn't do it.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Glavine gave the Mets a solid outing, now it's up to the team to kick some ass and get this victory.
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Is there any reason for Milwaukeeans to hate Glavine the way we hate Suppan? Probably the only enemy pitcher I wouldn't salute in this situation is Clemens. And Milwaukeeans are much nicer than me. Folks were just damn friendly when I visited last year.
