bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 I hope everyone saw our boys last night read the "Top 10 List" on "The Late Show with David Letterman." If not, you can find it here:http://www.cbs.com/latenight/lateshow/
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 Not even a little bit funny.....but I rarely find his Top Ten lists to be funny.
Guest sharpie Guests Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 Yeah, they should have been retired years ago.

The Top Ten contract was renewed and now each time out Letterman fans rationalize to themselves that it was "just a bad night."
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 I usually find the Top-10 bits funny ... just not this one.
metsmarathon Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 wow. #5 is the only one close to chuckle-worthy
soupcan Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 I saw it 'live' last night and also thought it was incredibly unfunny.I did like #9 though - 'Mets' is short for 'Metrosexuals'I think a lot of the reason it was bad was because the players had lousy deliveries. If Letterman had read it, there's a chance it might have been better.I was also disappointed in the band's rendition of 'Meet the Mets' which was the lead-in and lead-out(?) to the bit.
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 I actually liked the Oprah one.
