Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 Anthony Reyes' full name: Anthony Loza Reyes.Poor guy. But he's still kicking ass in the battle of the Anthonys.27252015105ReyesYoung
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted June 28, 2007 Posted June 28, 2007 Reyes has lost 12 or 13? straight decisions but is well behind the all-time consecutive loser, Anthony Young of the early-90s Mets who lost 27 straight decisions (while, like Reyes, pitching OK sometimes)..I believe Young had 15 or more saves embedded within his streak. Also: Streaks are stupid.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2007 Posted June 28, 2007 Yeah, streaks aren't anything that excites me a whole lot either. But there is something jarring about seeing (0-10) after somebody's name in a box score.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 28, 2007 Posted June 28, 2007 I thought there was something jarring about seeing that an 0-10 guy had the middle name of of "Loza."
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2007 Posted June 28, 2007 True. He should change it to "Laverne."
