seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 Charley - two very productive seasonsPete - 4-10, 5.55 in 1994, but was so consistently bad as a Mets opponent that he gets the edgeDick - serviceable role player in two seasonsJoe - it's only 31 gamesBobby - 3 for 22 in 1962; traded before the end of AprilI think you could argue Dick/Joe, but other than that, this one's easy.

Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 I watched tonight and I started this thread because I'm wondering if Charley is the only thing standing between Young Joe and history.I don't by the number of innings line. Thems key innings.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2007 Posted June 16, 2007 Yeah, but if Joe gets hits by a bus tomorrow, it's hard to argue that a bunch of one- or two-out outings override a long career. Maybe it's close, because this team is good while that team was terrible, but I can't get too excited about him yet.

The question: His favorite minor-league stadium. His answer: KeySpan Park, home of the Brooklyn Cyclones.
