Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2007 Posted June 12, 2007 Verlander threw a no-hitter for the Tigers. DET 4, MIL 0.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted June 12, 2007 Posted June 12, 2007 Thank goodness it didn't happen over the weekend, or I'd NEVER hear the end of it at work.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2007 Posted June 12, 2007 Verlander was the guy picked one slot ahead of Philip Humber in the amateur draft.

Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 13, 2007 Posted June 13, 2007 I think there'll be some anti-climax when we do.It's a novelty act after all. Root for good teams with good players and some fine performances will come our way.
