Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 reads like this> Rowand singled to right, Utley to third, Burrell out at third advancing on throw.Mets dodge a bullet there.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 Glavine gets out of the inning unscathed with a little help from Pat Burrell.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 2-2 after 6.And yes, the Mets have the lead.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 Glavine reminds Rollins of the eighth commandment.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 93 pitches so Tommys done.Gotay PHs and Ks.Reyes follows with a bloop single to right.Go Reyes go.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 HA!Howd that happen?Reyes steals 2nd and--WHAT!that was NOT a foul ball!whoops--replay shows it was. That pitch hit everything possible, the bat, the catchers two hands, and the ump.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 I'd rather it hit the picnic area bleachers.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 Things I've hated about this game so far (in order of how much I hate them).1. Score twice in the second, LoDuca is on 2nd with no outs, AND STAYS THERE. Popup by BJ unacceptable there.2. Reyes bunting Glavine over to second. Stupid. He's impossible almost to double up, why not take a shot at a triple instead?3. 0 on, 2 out, THEN the Phils score twice.

Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 It's time for the Carloses to come through this time.Damn it Reyes. Jose gets picked off second.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 Reyes needs to get his head out of his ass ... NOW!!!!
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 Beltraan gets under it by a smidgeon.Sends Blahrrell to the wall in left.Gah.2-2, after 7 complete. This, even with all the "gahs" , is a really good game.Good thing the Mets have the lead.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 Is it just me, or does seeing Schoeneweis in the game make anyone else nervous?
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 I just closed my eyes and imagined Utley as the Mets 2nd baseman, with Delgado,Reyes,Wright, manning the infield, and my head exploded.Chase walks.Howard up.

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 Mets come up in the 9th leading with the scored tied 2-2 and will have to plate a run to technically win the ballgame, due to those silly rules of baseball.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 Bunting is for losers. How many times will we prove it tonight?
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 (edited) More importantly waste Gomez there! WHATS THAT KID THINKIN!GAH!WOW!BIG error by Rowand!Reyes will bat with PH Newhan on 2nd.They will walk Reyes. Its all Easley. Edited June 5, 2007 by Guest
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 Hopefully Reyes won't try and bunt one of these intentional-walk pitches. Here comes Easley, presumably, to buunt. Carlos Beltran on bunt-deck.

Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 Don't let them disrespect you like that Damion. Make them pay.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 Dayem.Easley easily grounds out.We have extra frames.More bang for our buck.Ya gotta luv baseball.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 Nice 10th.Does this mean Heilman is De-Mota-ed?
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 (edited) Mota on for the 10th...Wags practically went unnoticed.Pitched a fine 9th aside from the Rowand double.Mota has a 1-2-3 10th, only Victorino getting good wood on him for the deep fly to center. The heart of the lineup for the Mets in the 10th. Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 It's time for the Mets to put an end to this game.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 BIG 2 strike steal of 2nd by Wright.But LoDuke pops out.Gah!
