Sosa grooving.

Still no sign of Ben Johnson in the park. Can Pedro pinch-hit?

Having Keith talk about the dance girls/cheerleaders that the Marlins employ is like asking for trouble,Philllies jump on the Braves and score four in the first.

Hey, Ramon, that's interference if you don't quit on the play.

Almezaga has a broader arc of eye black than I've ever seen.

Sac flies out to the wall.

Credit to Marlin fans. They've been outnumbered by Met fans the last two games, but they just successfully booed down a LGM chant.

First and second as Wright gets his cheapest hit of the year.

Whoop!

'Los comes back from 0-2 to lace an RBI single into the shift.

Double steal. Wright is 10-10 and almost halfway to McReynolds' record.

Mets take a 3 - 1 lead,Marlins defence is brutal..

Agter the double steal Easley hits the ball the Uggla who threw to first and the ball was dropped,Wright and Delgado score.Wright woould have scored becasue there was one out...

Excellent. Two runs on an Easley dribbler. It's 3-1, though Easley may have pulled up lamey.

Easley's fine, as he advances on a wild pitch that just rolled a few feet.

That's it. Walk Beltran. That's how it started last time.

This is a sloppy-assed Marlin team.

An insult to Jewish heritage.

Keith and Gary were talking about him not going that way much this season his last AB.

It's "Jewish Heritage Day" for the Marlins. Last year, they gave out a Mike Jacobs item, thinking that he is a M.O.T.

BTW, those watching on EI will understand what I mean when I mention that those Maroone commercials may be the worst ads in the history of television.

According to the Marlins announcers, the Mets success this weekend is the product of mostly lucky soft, hits, combined with only a few hard hit balls. I hate those guys.

On MLB.tv, there's one commercial playing over and over, for authentic overpriced big-league-logo clothing from Dick's sporting goods. It features fans of each team stating what baseball means to them. "It's about tradition." "It's about family." "It's about never giving up."

I don't know what they're going for, but the actor in the Yankee gear is unashamedly playing it as an asshole mook.

So much for David Wright's perfect record.

Are there any persons of color in that Dick's ad?

Except that pick-offs aren't counted as caught stealings so his "streak" continues.
They should be IMO, but I don't believe they are.

Great series for the Mets.

They apparently went for authenticity and used actual fans of each team.

No, I was trying to goof on Yankee fans, but I apparently wasn't very successful.
