metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2007 Posted April 19, 2007 Scary that Rodriguez has nine home runs and twenty three RBI in thirteen games, and the yankees are only 5 - 5.

A-Rod had approx 125 at birthday 24.

A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2007 Posted June 6, 2007 Cool stuff, LF. Lance Berkman's start has been strange. .722 OPS and 45 K's already. Tim Hudson's fast start strange, too, but strange because he was kicking ass seemingly out of nowhere. But 4.35 ERA in May and rocked in his first start in June, he might be coming back to earth.Prince popped another one today. On pace for 57 now.

Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 I like the look of those final standings. I guess the Mets would play the Padres in the NLDS.I can't imagine the Mets winning 92 games at this point though. I expect 85 wins top although it looking like that's enough to win the Division of Suck.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 5, 2007 Author Posted July 5, 2007 Judging by these mid-term results, it's kind of tough to label the NL East as the 'Division of Suck'. The end-of-season projections show the divisions to finish the year at*:NL West = +42 (games above .500 as a division)AL West = +40AL Central = +26NL East = -10AL East = -22 NL Central = -68* The totals don't exactly "zero out" here due to some teams having played a few games over the 81-game mark
