* Juan Padilla, 13 months removed from Tommy John elbow reconstruction surgery, is about to undergo surgery again. It's on the same elbow (right), with the same prognosis (out for the year).
Padilla, who threw one inning in a Spring Training game on March 11, and he experienced pain the following day, will undergo surgery on Friday to repair a tear in the flexor tendon.

* Duaner Sanchez underwent surgery to repair a bone in his shoulder on Tuesday.
