nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 Sheets threw a complete game (2 hits, 1 run) probably a rarity on opening day.Dunn homered twice.Matsui 2-2 so far in Colorado.

Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 Royals beating the crap out of Boston. Gil Meche has some filthy breaking pitches today.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 Royals look super pumped. They were losing that game after top 1
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 Markakis in RF for Baltimore has a cannon for an arm.....I know I rant alot about this but the announcers are useless...Rick fucking Sutcliffe might just put me to sleep.....
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 X-man takes Lidge deep (very deep) to tie up the Pitt/Hous game in the 9th, ruining a nice game by Oswalt. Not too many other nice games by the ace and ace-wannabes on opening day.Twas a bad day indeed for the likes of Zambrano, Contreras, Schilling, Kazmir, Lowe, Bedard, plus obviously Carpenter from yesterday. Even Santana is struggling a bit.
Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 It's a shame Lidge has been so messed up since that Pujols homer, he was untouchable for 2 years. But his goose is cooked. Dan Wheeler, your time is now.

nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 Lidge blew a save, but I like his attitude:]"If the fans are booing they're booing, but we need to give them something to cheer about."
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 The Tribune Company announced today that the Cubs will be sold at the end of this season....just saw highlights of the Reds/Cubs game,Adam Dunn hits monster shots.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 Schilling lasted 4 innings today, the amazing part is that it was his shortest start in TEN years and 281 starts
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 Two injuries to starters on opening day for Washington. Of course, one was to Christian Guzman, so whatever National faithful still exist will probably cheer that one, but Acta has his work to do.
