]March 30, 2007 - The Mets released several long-time minor leaguers today including IF Chase Lambin, OF Bobby Malek, and P Blake McGinley (as mentioned in the Blake the Fake thread), all members of the 2003 St. Lucie Mets championship team. Others released include OF Alhaji Turay and IFs Jay Caligiuri and Kevin Rios.
