Guest cooby Guests Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 http://www.getalifealready.com/cpf/archives/f1_t3218.shtmlScarlet sent me a copy of this for Christmas Thank you Scarlet, and I'll be listening to it on my way to my office party today
Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 You're very welcome - I think you'll enjoy it
soupcan Old-Timey Member Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 So.....I never sent you one?
Guest cooby Guests Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Scarlet, it was great, thanks again!Soupcan, I'm afraid your big package did not come.
Guest KC Guests Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Did I ask someone to send me one and I got it and don't know where it is?Or did I never ask and thought I was going to get one on ebay and never did.I remember both those scenarios like both are fact. Senility, it's not just forelders anymore.
Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Kase - didn't I give you one in July?
Guest KC Guests Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Sounds familiar, did it have a label or was it just a generic looking datacd? Dopey me, it could be mixed in with audio cds, software, Mets' stuff.I'll have to look in iTunes later too, but that's on a my laptop. I'll let ya know.We now return this thread to soupcan's package.
Guest cooby Guests Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 These CDs obviously have an effect on everyone's memory, somehow or another
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 I forgot to ask for one. Is it too late?
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 I have one of these also - as per the original thread - and I'd be willing to rip a copy and stick one in the mail.I'd also be willing to rip to mp3s if someone would be willing to host them. (Although considering this CD isn't for sale anywhere, I don't know that it'd be too illegal. We might want to only send the link around by e-mail or PM.)

Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 That.CD.Looks.GLORIOUS!!!!!!!!!I have CD versions of the two Fleetwood LPs, which are highlights of the 1969 and 1973 seasons. I'd be THRILLED to do a burn and trade with some one for that 40th anniversary discif someone is willing..I have an iPod playlist with highlights from that Mets Greatest Hits CD and some other things I have found on the web. I play it on the two hour drive to Detroit to games at Comerica. The best, which I found on a site somewhere, is the extended, original version of Meet the Mets.
Guest KC Guests Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 Can someone with the original give-away CD look on the back and see ifit has a copyright on it? If MLB or the Mets don't have a copyright on the CD then I don't see why we can't just slap the files on a server somewhere for our pleasure.
