A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Just prior to the pitch from Glavine, Belliard shuffled his feet towards the plate a few inches to take away the outside corner. And it worked.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Don't play "Rock 'n' Roll, Part II" dammit.
Valadius Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Get somebody warming up. Quickly.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Sure are a lot of fat chicks in the stands.
Valadius Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 We HAVE to get Weaver out. He'll go crazy.
Valadius Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 YES!!! Now Weaver will go out of his mind!
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Glavy doubled his pitch count that inning.Top of the order, gentlemen. Let us go Mets.
Guest Rotblatt Guests Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Tommy looked alright that inning, but the 4-pitch walk was inexcusable. Why didn't Valentin dive for that ball? Need Glavine to go at least another inning here--maybe two. Time for some runs, boys!Let's Go Mets!
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 You know what pisses me off about Pujols? (He's gone from "a hell of a hitter" to "I hate that guy" status this series, by the way.) They made a big fucking deal about his hamstring today... "oh, he's injured, he's injured." Like they were making excuses for why he's sucked to this point. I don't want to hear the crap, Cardinals. If he's hurt, get him out of there. (See "Floyd, Cliff.") If he's in the lineup, I don't want to hear about the fucking hamstring.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Whew, Weaver's grounder looked like a single through the middle when it first left the bat. Let's get those back and quiet the crowd a lirttle bit.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 HR (and Pujols can do that to anyone) and BB aside, that inning was nothing more than a pair of seeing-eye singles. No need to put Glavine on double-secret probation yet.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 I guess it's too much to say he should be on second?

Guest Rotblatt Guests Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 God damn it, Delgado, what were you swinging at?
Valadius Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 And Glavine gets knocked out. Fuck.
Guest Rotblatt Guests Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 This sucks. I want to be mad at Glavine, but I just can't. Come on, Bradford, do your thing and get a double play here. And how is Jeff fucking Weaver kicking our asses? For the second time in 5 days. This is embarassing.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Glavine pitched pretty well. He caught some bad breaks with some pretty cheap hits finding holes the last two innings. It's in the hands of the bullpen now.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Gotta stop this rally right here and now.

I can't post in these games or else I'd have one of those embelism (sp?)things ... I'll leave ya'll on a little clip of Hash Pipe (cool) ... LGM!!!
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Triple play is still in order.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 The Cardinals fail to execute the sacrifice, because Encarnacion , like most major league hitters can't bunt. Then he gets a hit with a 0-2 count.Bases loaded with no outs. We need to squelch this rally.
