When Steve Mura and John Stuper are two of your four starters (along with volatile Joaquin Andujar), that staff would have had serious heartburn against the Mets lineup.
The Cards had great team speed and the Mets starters would have had a tough time holding them on first. But I'm not sure if they could have gotten on base enough for that to have mattered.
