Guest vtmet Guests Posted October 11, 2006 Posted October 11, 2006 in otherwords, Cliff is taking up 2 spots in the roster (his spot and Anderson Hernandez)...I'd imagine that AH's job is simply to pinch run for Cliff when Cliff gets on base...not a bad strategy...I'd rather see CLiff/AH over Ledee/Ring...
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted October 11, 2006 Posted October 11, 2006 Well, Anderson is also a capable infield backup, allowing Chris Woodward to be used more liberally.In fact, the primary pinchrunner for Floyd would likely be Chavez or Tucker or whoever would replace him in the outfield the following inning.
