Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 I don't see why Grady didn't go to Saito sooner. If he can get 5 outs, why not 6. Oh well.

So far this series, LA's been terrible in the following categories:1. Base running2. Defense3. Bullpen management4. Lineup management (Lofton? Especially against lefties!)We've been playing pretty well, but we got the runt of the litter in in LA.

Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 My wife just said that McCarver is unlistenable. "He should go the Harry Caray route and drink heavily before the game. He'd be less annoying."

Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 If Kent was going to be on first, they should have just put one in his ear and been done with it!
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 Kent & Anderson = GoodFurcal, Lofton & Drew = Not GoodTough to get much of an offense going when you're alternating good with sucky like that.

We should've knocked him off the plate a bit--he's looking too comfortable up there. Hopefully this'll be a moot point in about 20 minutes, though.
