Glavine looks pretty sharp early.

So does Kujo, though.

We better get that high strike just called there on Reyes as well..............

Kind of funny how the "respect the batter" thing plays out...That pitch was high and inside, called a strike on Reyes...and then Beltran gets one right down the middle, belt high & it's called a ball...

That pitch was two or three inches off the plate.

Bullshit.

You see that call 3rd strike on Wright?
Cripes--this plate ump-----he better be just as awful for Tommy-G.

If Glavine starts throwing high strikes; we're in trouble.

A 3-2 breaking ball. This kid has balls.

kind of funny...you stack the lineup with righties against the lefties, yet the only 2 good at bats were by the lefties...

If Glavines zone can be extended to outside the black on the corners it would be like watching Tommy pitch in his prime.

I like that last half---makin this Kuo kid throw a good number of pitches.

Damn he looks freaking good...

Dodgers, Yanks, Mariners, ChiSox have all had success with players from Taiwan, Japan, China and/or Korea...and we wound up with Kaz, Kuo, Shinjo, etc...

Shinjo was better than expected, so was Yoshii.

but the point of what I was getting at, the guys that we scouted and signed were either marginally good, or a disappointment...these other teams have come up with guys that have made a difference...look at the Kaz/Iguchi comparison, Kaz was much higher rated than Iguchi...yet Kaz did little positive, Iguchi's been solid 2 years in a row...
