I'm up for that. Cliffy in left, Endy in right.

I'm willing to sit if it'll help the team.

I tried sitting during todays game.
I just ended up squirming around like a pile of jello.

I think Maine should sit.

I suspect Willie's gonna go w/the same lineup. Don't over-react to one bad game from Green.

Mota's prolly the only one not available (or minimally available) out of the pen.

I'd think about sitting Green and throwing Chavez in there, but I won't be too upset if Green's starting. When he's hitting (like he was just a week ago), he can handle lefties.

Is that really what you think I'm doing? You think I'm judging based solely on Game 1? Or have you really not noticed a difference in the contributions from Green and Chavez this year?

I won't be terribly upset if Green starts, either. But I'd go with Chavez if I was Willie. I heard Endy is a good outfielder too.

Cute.

But how bout answering the question? Have some fun for crying out loud. Play manager. Don't be a weenie.

True. But when has he actually been hitting? I can only recall the last series with Washington and the doubleheader where he hit two dongs.

I see no reason to sit anybody in a championship series. They can sit all winter.

Well, only nine guys can play at a time.

And the rest can stand up in the dugout and watch

One point to cooby.

But anyway, who do YOU think should play in the outfield? I swear I'll only make fun of your answer if you say to sit Beltran.

I would never sit Beltran! As long as Cliff can play, play him. And let Greenie in there.

Chavez seems to have a special dispensation for playing in games two different times; that dipshit Tim Robbins saw him play before he was even put in.
Maybe he could start and come out and then go back in.

Green (1-2) is one of only four Mets with a hit against Kuo, so I think that if Endy is going to play, it'd be for Floyd.

But I'm not about sitting Floyd right now either. He seems to be stinging a lot of pitches from everybody.

I sympathize with your desire to protect our lefty-laden lineup against lefties. I just with we had Milledge to help, or maybe a righthanded hitting option better'n' Woodward to help out at second.

I interpreted WWSB's talk with Mike & the Dog today as saying that Floyd was likely sit-ee vs. the lefty but things may have changed with that shot today. Had to be Cliff's most authoritative shot of the year.

thanks for the link Edgy...I was looking for something like that...I would have thought that he'd do better against the power guys and worse against the guys that can do damage with their legs (I believe he's a groundball pitcher that doesn't hold runners on very well)...

Looks like Reyes/Chavez have struggled, and the slower guys have done pretty well...
